The biggest noise around here is birdsong – and the occasional squabble among the chickens, who live at the bottom of the garden. We have almost an acre of land, about half of which is dedicated to garden, the remainder to an orchard, a kitchen garden and the chicken run. Breakfast eggs come from our chickens, and produce from the kitchen garden whenever possible. Meat is sourced from local farms, and everything else from the village shop.
The

Your room is fully equipped with everything you need to make your stay comfortable: a king sized bed, with lots of pillows; a large en-suite bathroom with shower (and lots of towels!); television; hospitality tray with those nice little extras like hot chocolate and good biscuits; Wi-Fi; and a well stocked book-case.
Breakfast can be served at whatever time you choose – from cock-crow to almost lunchtime. You have a range of choice, which will include cereal, muesli, yoghurt, juices, toast and marmalade, jam and honey and, of course, the full English breakfast. All dietary needs are catered for.
You are welcome to use the sitting room, where we have Sky television, and to walk in and sit in the garden. There are lots of walks starting from Ewhurst Green – as long or as short as you choose – and lots of nice places to sit on the Green, to admire the view or watch the cricket.
Gatwick and Heathrow are a very short distance away, as are the major
link roads to motorways – the M25 is about half an hours drive.
The nearest town is Guildford, with a cathedral and a history
which goes back to the Iron Age, and Cranleigh – the largest village in
